Biological Terrain Analysis (BTA)
Biological Terrain Analysis (BTA) is highly accurate way to measure the three vital biological factors acid-alkaline balance, oxidative stress and mineral concentration in the blood, urine and saliva, which determine the true status of the body's internal biochemistry. This information is valuable, like the knowledge gained when the farmer checks the soil before planting. For example, CANCER can only grow when the body's terrain has changed sufficiently in the wrong direction.
BTA can determine if the poor health is because of:
infections
heavy metals
mineral imbalances
liver disorders
toxicity
lymphatics
Digestive capacity
Kidney function
Dysfunction in energy production
The test measures the following parameters:
-
pH
the acid- alkaline balance within the body i.e. oxygen delivery
-
rH2 (Redox )
oxidative stress and free radical damage i.e. a precursor in all chronic conditions
-
R (Resistivity)
essential mineral concentration i.e. bone health
This table shows the optimal measurements for each factor for each body fluid. Patient samples are compared to these guidelines.

Blood pH Is the body too acid or too alkaline? Hormonal function is disrupted (e.g. Insulin, Thyroid etc) when blood pH is not within normal guidelines.
Saliva pH How is the digestive function?
Urine pH How well are the kidneys functioning?
Blood rH2 How is the body coping with oxidative stress? Cancer, heart disease, diabetes and arthritis thrive on oxidation.
Saliva rH2 How is the oxidative stress in the lymphatics?
Urine rH2 Is the body losing energy because it cannot utilise it?
Blood R How toxic are the blood and lymphatic systems?
Saliva R How is the pancreatic function and lymphatic toxicity?
Urine R How well are the adrenals functioning? How well does the body cope with everyday living?
One simple BTA reading can indicate the acid-alkaline balance, oxidative stress and mineral concentration status of the body. Once treatment has commenced, this test is used to monitor the results of treatment and lifestyle recommendations to ensure that the optimal standards are attained.
A specific fasting protocol needs to be followed before the testing can be done. Undertake a nil by mouth' fast for twelve to fourteen hours before the appointment. Do not brush your teeth. It also requires a urine sample after 4am , or upon rising. The second urine sample should be one hour later. Bring both samples to your appointment. |
